I am the classroom teacher for Harakeke in the Y5-6 Senior School. This will be my third year since joining Flanshaw Road School.

There have been many extra curricular events and opportunities your child has participated in throughout the term. Kapa Haka, Cultural Group, Monitor responsibilities, Patrols, sports and Enviro Projects. Holiday Homework :

We have recently completed our Student-Parent-Teacher Interviews and we had a fantastic turn out by all our families. Throughout the discussions there have been strategies we have developed for many students to practise Reading, Writing, Spelling or Mathematics at home over the next two weeks. These games and activities have been sent home and will need to be retuned next term.

Please also look at the following websites as another tool to access learning games.

I continue looking forward to working alongside you this year.
